ダイソーで販売されている薄型USB3.0ハブを購入したので、簡単にレポートしたいと思います。

I bought a thin USB 3.0 hub sold at Daiso, so I would like to make a brief report.

会社で使用しているサーフェスのポート拡張用として購入しました。
100均商品としては、税込み550円はかなりの高額ですが、USB3.0タイプのハブでは破格の値段ではないでしょうか。
では早速、商品を見てみましょう。
We purchased for port expansion of surface which we used in company.
As a 100 yen product, 550 yen including tax is quite expensive, but isn’t it an exceptional price for a USB 3.0 type hub?
Now let’s take a look at the products.
一番のメリットは、パソコン本体側のUSB3.0のポートをUSB3.0×1、USB2.0×3に拡張可能という事なので、サーフェスなどのUSBポートの少ないパソコンには重宝するアイテムですね。
拡張後の使い方は、USB3.0にはメモリースティック、2.0にはマウスやテンキー等の接続が好ましいと思われます。
USB3.0の高速データ転送を維持するためには、全ての機器がUSB3.0に対応してないとダメなので注意してくださいね。
もちろん遅いですが旧規格でも使えますよ。
それでは次に封入品を確認してみましょう
The best advantage is that the USB 3.0 port on the computer side can be expanded to USB 3.0 x 1 and USB 2.0 x 3, so it is a useful item for computers with few USB ports such as surface.

説明は箱裏面に全て記載されているので、説明書もなくダイソーっぽさが表れています。
それでは次にサイズを見ていきましょう。

All the explanations are written on the back of the box, so there is no instruction manual and it looks like Daiso.
Now let’s look at the size.
全長は約23.0ｃｍ、横幅約1.6ｃｍ、厚さ約0.7ｃｍ、重量19ｇとかなりの軽量コンパクトで持ち運びには邪魔にならなそうです。
コードの接続部においても、しっかりとラバーで守られいて耐久性もありそうです。
ボディはアルミを採用していて550円とは思えないほどスタイリッシュな作りになっています。
それでは次にUSB3.0の規格を見ていきましょう。

Even the cord connection is firmly protected with rubber and seems to be durable.
The body is made of aluminum and is so stylish that you wouldn’t think it’s 550 yen.
Now let’s take a look at the USB 3.0 standard.
USB3.0の転送速度は最大5Gbpsですが、実効値は大体600Mbps～1100Mbpsです。
ただし、USB2.0は最大480Mbps、実効値250Mbps～300Mbpsなので、USB2.0と比べると雲泥の差ですから、かなり高速にデータ転送が可能です。
またUSB3.0はバスパワーに対応していて900ｍA（5V）までの電源供給が可能なので、小型のHDD・SSD、Blu-rayやDVDドライブを稼働させることが可能です。

最後にこれはダイソーの商品なので、どこまで性能を発揮してくれるか未知数です。
負荷をかけての使用には本人責任で使いましょう。
普通に使う分には問題はないと思いますし、小型かつスタイリッシュなので普段使いとしては十分なのではないでしょうか。
これで550円は安いと思われます。

Finally, since this is a product of Daiso, it is unknown how far it will perform.
Use it at your own risk when using it under load.
I don’t think there’s any problem with normal use, and it’s small and stylish, so I think it’s enough for everyday use.
It seems that 550 yen is cheap with this.
