今日は埼玉県越谷市にある、「キャンベルタウン野鳥の森」に家族で散歩をしてきました。

Today, I went for a walk with my family at “Campbell Town Wild Bird Forest” in Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture.

越谷市はオーストラリアのキャンベルタウンと1984年4月11日に姉妹都市提携を締結しました。
提携10周年を記念して建設されたのがキャンベルタウン野鳥の森です。
Koshigaya City signed a sister city tie-up with Campbell Town, Australia on April 11, 1984.
Campbell Town Wild Bird Forest was built to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the alliance.

キャンベルタウン野鳥の森入口です。
キャンベルタウン野鳥の森のバードゲージは、日本最大級で多くの野鳥が暮らしています。
バードゲージは最大級ですが、チケットを購入する窓口は少し控えめに小さいですｗ
入園料大人100円、子供30円を払って入りましょう‼

ベネットアカクビワラビー
入園してすぐ右手にワラビーがいます。
Bennett Red-necked Wallaby
The wallaby is on your right as soon as you enter the park.

ワラビーも少し控えめに隅の方で、来園者をお出迎えでしたｗ
少し肌寒かったからか、動かずじっとしてました。
The wallaby was also a little modest in the corner and welcomed the visitors.
Maybe because it was a little chilly, I stayed still.

エミュー
ワラビーの隣にはダチョウ科のエミューがいました。
近づくと人に慣れているのか、近づいてきてくれました。

Next to the wallaby was an ostrich emu.
When I got closer, I was accustomed to people, and he approached me.

目の前で見ると大きいですね。
サービス精神が旺盛なのか、見ていたら2羽近づいてきてくれました。
※くちばしで突かれるので手は絶対出さないようにしましょう。
It’s big when you see it in front of you.
When I was looking at it, two of them approached me to see if they had a strong spirit of ※service.Be sure not to put your hand out as it will be pierced by your beak.

日本最大級のバードゲージ
それではここからバードゲージに入ります。
左が入口で、右は出口になります。

Let’s enter the bird gauge from here.
The left is the entrance and the right is the exit.

中の鳥が外に出ないように、扉は二重になっています。
自動ドアですが、1枚目の扉が閉まったのを確認してから2枚目の扉を開けましょう。
The door is doubled to prevent the birds inside from going out.
Although it is an automatic door, let’s open the second door after confirming that the first door is closed.

扉を抜けると、緑に囲まれ広々としています。
鳥の鳴き声や水が流れる音で、癒し効果が抜群です。
When you pass through the door, it is surrounded by greenery and is spacious.
The sound of birds singing and the sound of flowing water has an outstanding healing effect.

ワライカワセミ
バードゲージに入ってすぐ左手にワライカワセミがいます。
鳴き声を聞けることができたのですが、本当に大笑いしているような鳴き声でした。
動画に取れなかったのが残念です。
Kookaburra
Immediately after entering the bird gauge, you will find the Kookaburra on your left.
I was able to hear the cry, but it was a cry that really made me laugh.

オーストラリアガマグチヨタカ
眠かったのがまったく動いてくれませんでした。
どんな形かもちょっとわからなかったですｗ

I was sleepy but it didn’t move at all.
I didn’t know what the shape was.

小さい川とユーカリの木
ゲージの中間には小さな川が流れていて、鳥たちの餌箱が設置されています。
川を超えるとオーストラリアで有名な大きなユーカリの木が立っています。
さすがにコアラはいませんでしたｗ
飼育されている鳥以外は、周りを見渡すと小鳥から中型の鳥まで自由に飛んだり歩いたりしています。

Small river and eucalyptus tree
A small river runs in the middle of the gauge, and a feeding box for birds is installed.
Across the river, a large eucalyptus tree, famous in Australia, stands.
As expected, there was no koala.
Except for the birds that are bred, if you look around, you can freely fly and walk from small birds to medium-sized birds.

観察棟
ユーカリの木を過ぎると観察棟があります。
観察棟からは歩いている鳥を上から見たり、飛んでる鳥を同じ目線で見ることができます。
たまたま、インコが休んでいたのでじっくり見ることができました。
Observation building
After passing the eucalyptus tree, there is an observation building.
From the observation building, you can see the walking birds from above and the flying birds from the same line of sight.
It happened that the parakeet was resting so I could take a closer look.

クルマサカオウム
ピンク色のとてもきれいなオウムでした。
歩いているところだけしか見れませんでしたが、かわいかったです。
Major Mitchell’s Parrot
It was a very beautiful pink parrot.
I could only see it while walking, but it was cute.

かわいい鳥たち
園内には本当にたくさんの鳥が自由に飛び回っています。
人にも慣れているのか、近くまで寄ることも出来ます。

There are so many birds flying around freely in the park.
Maybe you’re used to people, you can get closer.

コメント
他にもたくさんの鳥たちがいましたが、載せきれませんでした。
家族での団らんやカップルのデート、ちょっとした息抜きで来園してもいいと思います。
かわいい鳥たちに癒されること間違いなしです。
