皆さんこんにちは。今日はことわざ第15弾です。

梅雨の時期となり、日々の暑さも増してきましたが皆さん体調は大丈夫でしょうか。
そんな暑い日々の中で、今日のことわざは「暑さ寒さも彼岸まで」です。
「彼岸」とは秋分と春分をことを言い、過ごしやすい季節の変わり目をさしています。

由来
春分の日と秋分の日は季節の変わり目にあたり、春分をすぎれば寒さがやわらぎ、秋分をすぎれば熱さがやわらぐことから。
Origin
Vernal Equinox Day and Autumnal Equinox Day are the turning points of the season, and the coldness softens after the spring equinox and the heat softens after the autumn equinox.

意味
夏の暑さは秋分まで、冬の寒さは春分までで、その後はすごしやすくなること。
Meaning
The summer heat is up to the autumn equinox, the winter cold is up to the spring equinox, and then it’s easier to spend.

例・使い方
先週買ってもらった春物の服を早く着たいのに寒くてなかなか着られない。
母は「暑さ寒さも彼岸まで」春休みには着られるよと言っていた。
Example / How to use
I want to wear the spring clothes I bought last week, but it’s cold and I can’t.
She said she could wear it during spring break, “Atsusa Samusa mo Higanmade”

彼岸とは？
彼岸は、春分の日（3月20日ごろ）、秋分の日（9月20日ごろ）を中心とした、それぞれの前後7日間をさします。
もともと仏教のことばで、この時期にはお墓参りをして先祖をまつります。
What is Higan?
Higan refers to the seven days before and after each of the spring equinox day (around March 20) and the autumn equinox day (around September 20).
Originally a Buddhist language, during this time we visit graves and worship our ancestors.

春分の日や秋分の日は季節の変わり目で、とても過ごしやすくなりますが、体調も崩しやすい時期でもあるので、彼岸が近づいたら気を緩めないようにしましょう。
食べ物もおいしくなるので、食べすぎも注意ですよｗ
