皆さんこんにちは。今日はことわざ第9弾です。
今日のことわざは「光陰矢のごとし」です。
光陰とは月日（時間）を意味します。
類似していることわざには、「歳月人を待たず」や「少年老いやすく学成りがたし」があります。

Today’s saying is “like a light-headed arrow.“
Light shade means the month and day (time).

由来
「光」は太陽、「陰」は月のことで、「光陰」は月日や時間を表し、月日は矢が飛んでいくように、早く過ぎることから。
Origin
“Light” means the sun, “yin” means the moon, “light shade” means the month, day, and time, and the month and day are too early, as if an arrow were flying.
意味
月日のたつのがひじょうに早いこと。
時間をむだに過ごしてはいけないという教え。
meaning
The date is very early.
Teaching that you should not waste your time.
例・使い方
おばあちゃんに「来年は中学生だよ」と言ったら、「ついこの間までよちよち歩いてたのに、光陰矢のごとしだね」と言われた。

実際の矢の速度は？
矢の重さなどによって変わりますが、矢の速度は光の速さほどではありません。
でも昔の人にとっては光のような速さだったのでしょう。

The speed of the arrow is not as fast as the speed of light, although it depends on the weight of the arrow.
But for the old people, it was as fast as light.
